Brodu Tac-canga / Beef Broth

Ingredients

250g cubed beef
1 bone if you can get one(optional)
2 carrotts
5 potatoes
celery
1 turnip or kohl rabi
1 onion
1 courgette
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
100g of small pasta (optional)

Method

Boil the beef and bone in water enough to cover the beef and cook for 1 hour.

Peel and chop all the vegetables.

Add water to the pot and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and cover until it boils.

Remove the bone then add all the vegetables and cook until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked as well.

Add the pasta and cook accordiding to the guide on the packet.

Serve with pepper and salt.
